In 2008, 2009, when the Vietnamese economy fell into a serious recession affecting the business lines of the whole market, An Viet still stood firm and surpassed with high concentration and effort. the continuous efforts of the Board of Directors and the collective of staff to fulfill the sales target in this extremely difficult time.
Also during this period, An Viet is certificated as 1 of 100 largest wood processing plants in Vietnam. With our continued efforts to reach our potential international clients, An Viet has participated in numerous trade shows in Singapore, Germany and Vietnam. And those resulted in several contracts
During this same period, by realizing a great pontential for growth in wooden furniture in Vietnam. Our Board of Directors decided to invest to a big expansion on a new large modern factory which total area is over 65.000 square meters located in Tan Dong Hiep industrial park, Di An town, Binh Duong province – where is the center of the biggest wooden processing and exporting area in Vietnam. Since then, the company expanded our production to meet various demand.
With efforts to boost our production toward an environmental friendly system, we applied the FSC standards (Forest Stewardship Council, Federal Republic of Germany). In November 2011, we received an FSC- “Chain of Custody” certification by the LGA Intercert Zertifizierungsgesellchaft mbH, under registration certificate number IC-COC -100 318, a must- have certification for manufactures produce products made from certified and clear origin wooden material.
